CERTAINLY not signatures of L-R bank too lean where the plugs would be on the white side.Anyone got any ideas EVEN the faintest of help would be great.PS. no heavy loads nor heavy foot ( way WAy past the age of hot rodding a work truck)Since the fault is both banks the down stream not upstream sensors seemed to be a logical thing to change as both side sensors going bad at the very same moment is against any troubleshooting concept. All hoses and connections that I can physically put my hands on seem to be in order and no apparent loose nor anything broken
89 ford ranger fuel problems
I took it to mechanic and he said my valves in transmission were sticking, so I got some Lucas transmission Fix, which cleans and lubricates sticking valves for proper shifting. If I accelerate moderately or hart it will respond appropriately until I let off the accelerator, then it goes back to the skipping, stumbling problem (as if it is flooding out)

How to clean a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor - 5.4L - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
baby ape Cleaning the MAF helps the sensor be as accurate as possible so you get the right amount of fuel for the amount of air going through your motor. Your supposed to let the filter set and the charging oil dry properly, but I have seen where some might not wait long enough for that and after running the truck, some of the charging oil will get on the sensor, sometimes that will happen even after it does dry long enough, I've seen it happen
I'm wondering if this forum would be able to answer my question!! I have installed an hho water as gas device on my 1996 Ford Ranger XL, and it has improved my mileage considerably for the first week. I thought maybe I had a sticky cable setup and goosed the accelerator, and the idle stayed high (1800 rpm in neutral - where I had shifted to see what was up)
