The downs of the film is that the lead and acutally most of the teens are by the numbers and stereotypical, Im not saying that the orignal had well fleshed out characters but you liked Nancy of old and here I was just left cold after ten minutes of her looking like she was on pills way nefore sleep depravation had kicked in. And when Nancy's mum got killed and was dragged into the shattered mirror, that was really cool cause this could mean another movie since Freddy appears to be alive yet again

I also find this movie being really creepy sometimes, what is not usual for slasher films, like that scene where Freddy made one of the kids fall from a window, the whole scene was kinda creepy
