It doesn't matter to me what Lewis' point was; in my opinion, he missed the mark by not having his characters react appropriately to being permanently torn from their supposedly beloved sister.Maybe if this review were, instead, a theological treatise on the themes in Lewis' books, it would be important for me to include Lewis' background; but this is a review about whether I liked the book, not the aforementioned essay
