Getting 3 kids (and a pregnant wife) around Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure (the two parks that together make Universal Orlando) takes some planning. Diagon Alley is packed during the day and maneuvering the street and looking in the stores is much more manageable in the evening, not to mention that it is magical seeing it lit up

The Potter restaurants' British pub grub is pretty good, but for a better sit-down meal, you'll want to escape to CityWalk, where Antojitos Authentic Mexican, Vivo Italian Kitchen and the Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar are solid options. This is the absolute best place to get your Butterbeer, as the other side of the cart has a very long line with people not realizing the Butterbeer is sold on both sides of the cart. Grab a Butterbeer or Pumpkin Juice and take it all in while gazing at Hogwarts and realizing that YES, you finally made it into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
