Within a few minutes it was red hot, the menus took many seconds to load to even get started, then the first three videos I tried to play didn't even work (despite WD stating it should support mkv format). It is often snail paced and wont turn off when it doesn't feel like it.This is my second review and strangely the first wasn't submitted for some strange reason

So in the end, I have ended up actually selling both my Apple TV 3 and WD TV Live and I now in the process of setting up an old laptop with Linux (Ubuntu or Mint) and puting XBMC on it. I was able to screen mirror with my Samsung devices with no problem, and play any sort of file, although sometimes it did have trouble with subtitle files even though they were in the same folder.
