The citizens in question would probably be pretty sick and tired of seeing benders impose their will in this manner, if they have not already have resentment about their powers. If it really will be as entertaining and as good as the prequel only time can tell but for now (seen 6 episodes so far) the story is more promising than I ever could have imagined it to be
It might not be a huge talking point in the grand scheme of things, but I really dug the bending brothers scenes in this episode, and it was great to see them working side-by-side again, like the old days in the pro-bending ring. The flashes of past Avatar's vanishing before Korra's eyes was a powerful moment, one that I think really captured the stakes in a tragically beautiful way
