The representative on the phone advised he was not able to do that! Sine when would a credit card company refuse to lower the credit limit? Why? My only thought is they want me to have a high credit limit so I may end up with a high balance and then subsequently paying more in interest

that seems a little to long for me.I think like others I will maybe discontinue using the Best Buy card but keep the account open by small actives, but I wont rely on this card as a major credit card. first of all I am livid due to the fact that I receive certs instead of a check like I was told, and after reading some of the stuff on here, I feel that it is nothing but a scam. I can accept that this is in the agreement but what did I do wrong in this instance? I asked about my old RZ account and the sales rep told me it was fine and that I will get the points! What else am I supposed to do but ask the representative of the company who has the program!? The problem here is a system that is intentionally set up to deceive both the sales rep and the customer by keeping both of them in the dark
