They are not affraid to send you a new keurig.posted by majortom1981 at 11:51 AM on January 3, 2012 Long time Keurig user here, with multiple different types of machines. On preview, what k8t said.posted by defenestrated at 10:57 AM on January 3, 2012 Should I attempt to empty the water that's currently in the reservoir? It seems like tilting it upside down and letting the water drain might harm components and might also not be very effective in getting rid of the water.posted by codacorolla at 10:59 AM on January 3, 2012 Look, it's brand new

Problem with Keurig Platinum Plus

  http://www.coffeeforums.com/forum/coffee-espresso-machines/8944-problem-keurig-platinum-plus.html
Any ideas? User error? (If so, what I could possibly be doing wrong.) Seems odd that I can't find anyone on the internet with this problem, Keurig says they've never heard this issue, and yet 2 machines perform the same for me. I called Customer Service and walked through all of the troubleshooting steps with them and after arguing for a while that the machine had an internal problem, they finally agreed to send me a new machine

Reply Linda on January 15, 2009 at 4:36 pm Hey! I LOVE my Keurig coffee maker!!! I have the K-cups BUT I also have the individual basket so that I can brew my own freshly ground coffee. Not only can you brew a cup of coffee, but you can also brew a shot of espresso (2.5 ounces at 192 degrees F), and frothed milk (6 ounces, 156 degrees F) to make a cappuccino or a latte

While it may seem ridiculously excessive to be able to change colors on the water tank light or enable a night light feature, we still thought they were neat little added touches

Keurig coffee machines - which is best? - Cookware - Chowhound

Since I have an antique Mr Coffee and my most recent free Gevalia drip oldies in the basement (just in case) I switched back to the old way for a week until I discovered the problem (with the help of Keurig customer service, they were actually very helpful). Is there any K-cup machine that has a good record for dependability? Reply 0 re: josephnl coll Jul 13, 2014 11:17 AM I just had a problem with one that was a gift, received a little over a year ago

Keurig B70 B77 Problem Solved!

Blowing again hard for 10-15 seconds caused something to clear in the tubing and water in the boiling chamber could be heard bubbling and shortly after water came out the K-cup needle. The next cup I ran was totally full! Just like new! (BTW, Kuerig's recommended de-scaling process takes about 4.5 hours...glad I didn't have to do that!) I just used my mouth, but if you're a clean-freak you may want to complicate the process by using a pump.Once the reservoir is empty, plug the tubes back in. Getting the bottom plate in place was a little tough and so was getting the arm cover on in the right position.Since the machine had claimed it needed descaling, I had most recently had vinegar in the system

Sometimes, you may also have to take a paper clip up into the piece that pierces the top of the K-cup, sometimes, grounds and scale can accumulate there as well. I have descaled about every 3 months, but I just descaled last month and now the stupid descale sign is on again and it will not even pull the vinegar into the reservoir to descale

Have a friend hold a flashlight (maglite works great).Clear the top nozzle hole from the top:Remove the lower cover by squeezing the buttons on each side; pull toward you and slightly down. I read more responses and see a several other people mentioned leaving the plugs that cover the screw openings on the hood OFF when reassembling your VUE so if you have a similar problem in the future you can more easily do the next repair

Surviving Life's Insanity: Keurig B70 Coffee Maker - Buyer Beware

customer rep documented my complaint and will send me a new one as a replacement provided that i send back the k cup pack holder as proof that machine will be rendered inoperable. Now, all of the sudden this weekend it has stopped working; all it says is "NOT READY", but won't tell me why it's not ready, and I'm doing everything exactly as before when it was working great

Contributor 1 Answer Re: My Keurig Coffee Maker says Prime What do I do? I unplugged from the wall for 30 seconds or so and when I plugged it back in it worked. I used the handle of a plastic spoon; I didn't want to use something sharp that could damage the release.) When I replaced the reservoir, the machine worked perfectly

We only use it once a day, but I'm starting to think it's not a problem with the pump, but something in the machine that makes the water in it turn to debris and shutting down the machine so it won't overheat trying to pump water that it can't because there's crud stopping it up. Now I only use filtered water, and have only had this new machine for a few months, but when I did this compressed air, first bubbles and then all this CRUD came BACK INTO the reservoir! This was shocking...and pretty gross

Worked for my blackberry storm so why not the coffee maker? Either way, i just bought it from the store i work at and my problem started within a day of my installing the carbon filter assembly. This procedure has to be done often between cups. From what we seen in internet their hundreds about the same problem but we have not see any serious response about it From Keurings customer service yet.One other important and related problem frequently reported is the irregulars doses of coffee like HALF-FILLED CUPS of coffee e.t.aThis must be redesign from Keuring factory since there is not much we can do about it to solve once for all even if they will replace your machine with a new one you will have the same problem in few weeks
