My little ones took 3 months to heal the only way I can describe it is it looked like a red slug I can't remember what the doctor called it but it is quite common for them to stay that way until even two years when they would operate but I got some fudecin cream and it worked a treat still use it now if it gets red. If i was you, i would keep it dry,(unless its really gross, leave it for a few days to dry out properly) change the babygro's regularly and see your G.P just to set your mind at rest

2 Weeks later had the staples removed and the incision opened up so for the past 2 mnths I have been dealing with the wound clinic and waiting for this to heal over. I often wonder of it could have anything to do with my female menstraul periods as at the age of 39 they just stopped and I have not had one since and I am 50 now
