Zion is a park that really needs to be hiked to be fully appreciated (take angel landing for example) while Bryce can be appreciated with just short walks to the observation points (there are lots of them though!). Re: Where to stay near Bryce? Aug 16, 2009, 11:53 PM Are you flying into Vegas? If you are, then you should at least drive thru Zion on Hwy 9 on the way to Bryce
