I get out of all the comments on my source code file and I was able to add more code to it (I use codelobster as an editor, but the something is happening also if I use other editor), but after another 20 - 25 lines (probably this was the space occupied before by comments), the some strange thing is happening
64 bit - SQL Server Installation: Is it 32 or 64 bit? - Server Fault
If I do the same checks on a confirmed 64 bit installation, it does give back the expected 64 bit readings, which can only prove that this server in question is only running in 32 bit. Is this assumption correct? I feel the server should have SQL reinstalled as 64 bit in order to fully utilise the hardware platform, however it is currently heavily in production; this will be no easy task

We have a few new servers we're looking to roll out with Windows 2012 but we didn't feel the need to upgrade SQL Server since the 2005 version has all the functionality we need and the cost to license SQL 2012 on these boxes would have been a 5-figure sum. Stop SQL Service and restore orignal versions of SQLServr.exe and SQLOS.dll (or else SP4 doesn't think it is needed in the next step) Install SQL Server 2005 SP4 Install SQL Server 2005 SP4 Cumulative Hotfix 5069 (Windows Update wasn't offering this for some reason so I had to download and install manually) If you want the latest documentation, install the latest version of SQL Server 2005 Books Online
