The Vitamix can definitely make flour from whole grain rice, but it will not be as smooth as the stone ground flours. as this gf mix can be used in a regular bread recipe that call for AP flour what about the yeast from the ap flour recipe? do i still add to gf mix? and what about the rising times a regular recipe calls for? thanks

I tell everyone I have to feed my fridge pet once a week lol any info would be great! Keep the gluten free recipes coming! Hosley on December 15, 2010Size: Pack of 4 I've been Gluten Free for over a year now.At first, I worried about the prices of all the gluten free foods out there, then I realized that I could eat healthy and Gluten Free without buying *any* expensive, weird tasting, difficult to find GF foods.But I have to admit, after a while you get tired of potatoes, rice , and cornmeal and long for a nice satisfying biscuit !Well, I tried a few 'tried and true' recipes on web sites that called for several different GF 'flours' to be blended together , and never quite managed something that tasted right.Then a friend surpised me by baking GF lemon bars using this flour.They were FABULOUS! Guests at the party could not tell the difference bewteen these and her regular recipe.I said what the heck, and bought some myself, and the first thing I made was biscuits.
