I had no choice but to go to The Lodge, this was a work retreat; but I am most definitely going to be making plans to come back here for myself when I need a little getaway. Jim was great to work with and communication for all of the plans such as welcome bags, room assignments, and all other little details that come up with weddings! The staff at the Lodge is beyond welcoming and friendly which was so wonderful as many of our guests first stop in Detroit Lakes was the Lodge - they were treated to Minnesota nice from the beginning of their trip throughout the entire stay! The hotel is beautiful and located right on Lake Detroit providing beautiful scenery and picturesque sunsets as you lounge in the lobby with a drink from Lola D's
