March 2015 - 6:33(121663) I had high hopes for Light Alloy (not yet reviewed here) and thought it might replace PotPlayer when I first installed it; great default skin and interface; easy to configure, lots of options, etc...but when comparing an assortment of videos in both players, LA didn't render the videos as well as PotPlayer; they seemed a bit grainier and some appeared to have sharper outlines. There's plenty of media players out there and if you are a regular user of Youtube and Shoutcast and lazy enough to search for your desired subtitle, UMPlayer could be the next reason to ditch your favourite media player
