This I knew when I bought it which almost stopped me from buying it to begin with, but our TV's are Smart TV's and we have other devices that have Netflix and Amazon so it was not a deal breaker like it may be for others. Do yourself a favor, unless you enjoy staring at an orange round arrow for hours, don't get this system and get a better quality one that can do the job properly
Within a few minutes it was red hot, the menus took many seconds to load to even get started, then the first three videos I tried to play didn't even work (despite WD stating it should support mkv format). So in the end, I have ended up actually selling both my Apple TV 3 and WD TV Live and I now in the process of setting up an old laptop with Linux (Ubuntu or Mint) and puting XBMC on it.
